It takes motivation to lose weight. Since willpower can’t be bottled and sold, is there something a person can do to boost their own self determination?

Here’s the scenario: you have two athletes poised at the starting line for a race. Both have trained equal amounts of time and both were born with the same amount of athletic ability. So, who will win the race? Psychologist may answer with this, “the one who wants it most.” In the end, it all boils down to drive and determination. The battle against weight loss is no different. The people who get the most results are often the ones with the most weight loss motivation.

How much weight loss motivation do you have? If you’re like most people who have struggled with weight issues, you might report that you just can’t quite get motivated to lose the weight. Maybe you’ve acknowledged that you have a weight loss problem. You want to change it. Maybe you even forked over the money to join a gym. Maybe you’re one of the people who has bought home exercise product after product that you saw on infomercials only to slide them into the closet.
